Residential HVAC Design Engineer

Description:
Responsible for performing mechanical and plumbing design of energy efficient systems with an emphasis on residential and hydronic systems.

Essential Responsibilities:

Project Management
Coordination of design meetings
Energy evaluation and design recommendations
Move recommendations into completed design drawings
Manage, review, and maintain client communications
Coordination with clients, architects, construction managers and contractors

Desired Experience:

Residential and small commercial HVAC & plumbing design with emphasis on energy efficient systems
Hydronic heating design including radiant floor heating
ACCA Manuals J and D, and Title 24 compliance using Micropas
AutoCAD 2000 and up
MS Office
Demonstrated passion/interest in energy efficiency
3+ years of work in the area of mechanical design
Excellent client skills
Degrees and Licenses

ME degree preferred
PE not required
